Don't be taken for granted... only you have the power for change
There are loads of ways to support the Liberal Democrats - especially at the local level! There is something for everyone, regardless of skillset, time, or mobility.
What can you do to help Brian win?
Go Door to Door
- Deliver leaflets: We'll be out every week in the run-up to the election
- Talk to residents: Join our Action Day teams to canvass voters - you can accompany an experienced canvasser to start with
- Canvassing is a way to identify how people may vote - this data helps us tailor our campaign and bring supporters on board! It is also a great way to meet people living in the area
Clerical Work
- Phone banking: Calling lists of voters (often Lib Dem members) to get in touch
- Organise local events
- Help our fundraising team reach potential donors
- Office/From Home jobs: e.g. writing and stuffing envelopes, bundling leaflets, etc.
- Join our Clerical Club
- Artwork leaflets: training can be provided
- Take photographs
- Help our press team get stories to the local media
- Speak with other local members and supporters
- Help out in our offices’ print room
- Drive leaflets to our deliverers
Display your Support!
- Have a stakeboard in your garden
- Put a poster up in your window (can be your car window!)
- Fill out the poster form
Other Methods
- Join our WhatsApp group for Melksham and Devizes campaigners for regular information about campaign activities and meet points
- Donate: Your money funds our campaign - for example, by helping with the cost of printing leaflets
- Join Us: By signing up as a member, you gain access to a wealth of resources, remain informed on what the Party is doing, and gain the right to vote at conference, make policy, and shape our manifesto
- Fill out the Volunteer form: This allows us to keep you up to date with the campaign and lets us know what you are comfortable doing
