Background: Taylor knows what it’s like to struggle. Growing up on a council estate, he saw first hand how difficult it can be for families to make ends meet, despite their best efforts. He understands the frustrations of dealing with a system that too often feels stacked against ordinary people. These experiences shaped his determination to stand up for those who feel unheard.
Taylor has been inspired by the strength of local communities in Devizes, particularly the work of community hubs, and wants to play a role in bringing people together.
Taylor is standing for election because he believes politics should work for everyone—not just those with the loudest voices. He will be a councillor who listens, takes action, and fights for better transport, fairer housing, and stronger community support.
